10 WWE Stars In Danger Of Getting Lost In The Shuffle
4. Kalisto
Kalisto successfully defended his US Title at WrestleMania, however, you’d be forgiven for forgetting that. Stuck away on the pre-show, most of the crowd hadn’t even found their way into the stadium yet and it’s barely been mentioned on Raw since.
Kalisto means nothing. A year after John Cena had jolted the US strap back into relevance, it has collapsed back onto the table and died.
Which is frustrating, because Kalisto could be good. No one can watch him wrestle and not get excited. He does all those things Rey Mysterio did when he first wowed crowds and more. He’s WWE’s natural entry into the Mexican market and yet they just don’t seem to know what to do with him.
With more stars appearing who can do what Kalisto does and also pick up a microphone and cut a promo, it is hard to see where he fits on the roster.
You can’t imagine he’ll disappear entirely (WWE will be touring Mexico), but he’ll slowly slide down it. The real question is - will WWE make an effort to save the US title before he does?
