What the hell happened to Baron Corbin's push?

One minute, he was a leading heel on SmackDown and held the Money in the Bank briefcase. The next, he's right back where he started, further away from the main event scene than he'd like and in a match nobody wants on this week's SmackDown.

The winner of Corbin vs. Dolph Ziggler is unimportant. No matter who wins and goes on to the Fastlane's Fatal-4-Way, they're only there to make up the numbers. AJ Styles is escaping Fastlane as WWE Champ, and we all know it. To think WWE would switch on us now and present something like Corbin vs. Nakamura at 'Mania? Impossible.

No, Baron is another who will likely be in that Battle Royal on the pre-show. His push has been abandoned and SmackDown's writers have made him look like an afterthought. Any road back from here post-'Mania is gonna' be a long one.
