Almost exclusively existing as the answer to a WWE trivia question, Damien Demento headlined the first ever episode of Monday Night Raw. His opponent on that night was none other than The Undertaker, and the match was nothing more than a brief squash in favour of 'The Deadman'. Even so, at least Demento can look back to the fact that he was the main event of such a historic program. Unfortunately, that's about the only remarkable thing about the man's WWF career. Hired due to a recommendation from The Bushwhackers, Damien went under a similar character he'd played before joining the company. Damien Demento used the crazy gimmick, and announcers claimed he was utterly insane. His only Pay-Per-View showing was as a participant in the 1993 Royal Rumble. All in all, Demento lasted less than a full year in the promotion. Management clearly didn't think he had the tools to advance beyond his lower mid-card spot, but obviously felt he was perfect to feed to Undertaker on the debut edition of Raw. Since leaving WWE, Damien Demento has wrestled sporadically on the independent circuit.
