8. Roman Reigns

On 18 December 2012, Roman Reigns debuted in WWE as part of The Shield with Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins.

The faction eventually fell apart, with Rollins striking first by attacking his fellow Shield-mates from behind with a steel chair, and becoming the pet project of Triple H & Stephanie McMahon by joining The Authority.

For most of Roman's career, WWE would have to pipe in cheers over the taped audio feed, because the live crowd, no matter where they went, unequivocally were sick of the handpicked golden boy.

It wasn't until he was forced to take a leave of absence from WWE due to his leukaemia returning. Roman Reigns returned for the first time with genuine adulation, and eventually, was allowed to do the one thing John Cena never was: turn heel. Needless to say, he has reached the zenith of his career up until this point.

By allowing Reigns, whom the fans naturally wanted to boo, to go heel, WWE gave the audience exactly what they wanted. The byproduct was a career catapulted straight to the top when he re-captured the Universal Title at Payback 2020, maintaining his seat as the 'Head of the Table' ever since.

What’s up fellow Pro-Wrestling FANADDICTS, (and yes, I’m a aware that is not the correct way to spell “fanatics,” but I thought since this was my introduction I’d ease everyone into my sarcastic sense of humor before just jumping off the proverbial high-dive.) ANYWHO, I have been OBSESSED, and not just because I legitimately was diagnosed at 8 years old with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, with Pro-Wrestling. It is BAR-NONE, my biggest passion in life. If I didn’t have to pay bills, I’d do it for free! (Work in the industry in any capacity).
