Since 2002, the following went down with Jeff Hardy: WWE eventually gave him the "rehab or you're fired" ultimatum when he had a bad painkiller and crystal meth habit, and he chose "fired." Arrested on a number of felony drug charges after he had accepted a fan's offer to send a coffee can (really) containing 262 painkiller pills to Jeff, it was deemed suspicious and inspected, and the police set up a bust forwhen he accepted it. The police found other drugs and he was charged with a number of felonies.
