10 WWE Stars Who Have Major Heat With CM Punk

1. Triple H

One of the most controversial things about the Art of Wrestling appearance was Punk's appraisal of Triple H. There have long been rumours that the two have never gotten along and Punk confirmed it while launching a scathing attack at 'The Game'. The heat goes all the way back to Punk's WWE debut, a match that was taped for Sunday Night Heat in 2005 but never aired when Shawn Michaels, Arn Anderson and Triple H tore it and, specifically, Punk to shreds backstage. Punk then spent the next year in OVW where he 'learned how to work'. At the Survivor Series in 2006 Punk got a louder reaction and was cheered harder than both Michaels and Triple H, no doubt irritating Hunter further. From there things would only get worse between the two and Punk has said there was always a negative energy when the two were together in recent years. Triple H selfishly curtailed Punk's momentum after Punk caught fire in 2011. This is something that Triple H has a habit of doing and Punk called him on it. It's one of the reasons why Punk didn't want to work with Triple H at this year's WrestleMania as he still harboured resentment towards him. Punk also claimed that Triple H got Punk taken off of a WWE Studios Film, which Punk was looking forward to because it would give his body a break from the demanding schedule he was on as champion. When Punk pointed out that it overlapped with the European tour, he got Punk replaced by Randy Orton which Punk only found out about when he read it on the internet. Punk's biggest gripe came as a result of WWE serving him with termination papers on the day of his wedding to AJ Lee, which he says Triple H calculated to stick it to Punk and try to ruin his big moment. No, Punk and Triple H do not get along and it looks like they never will. With Trips set to take over from Vince when Vince steps down in the future, it looks like we've definitely seen the last of Punk in a WWE ring.
