10 WWE Stars Most Likely To Win The Royal Rumble (And Why)

6. Bray Wyatt

From the safest of safe choices to what could arguably be the biggest risk WWE could take, a Bray Wyatt win. The Eater Of Worlds has been hit and miss in the main event scene since his Raw debut, but when he gets it right, he's one of the best things about WWE today. But is it enough to secure him a Rumble win? Bray Wyatt debuted on WWE mainstream programming in the summer of 2013, and despite being on the roster for a year and a half, it still feels like he still hasn't shown his best to the WWE Universe. He started tearing his way through the roster, culminating in an impressive clean win against Daniel Bryan at last year's Royal Rumble. But it began to fall apart that very same night, as he and the other Wyatt Family members began a feud with John Cena. It spawned some good matches and his best promo work to date, but ultimately Wyatt came out on the losing end of the feud, and you could say that he's still trying to recover from it. Since then, however, he's undergone a subtle repackaging, severing ties to Erick Rowan and Luke Harper to compete properly as a singles wrestler. He's also competed in some brutal matches against Dean Ambrose, including a TLC match and an Ambulance match, winning both. Most recently, he racked up a win against a returning Daniel Bryan on the final Raw before the Rumble. In terms of momentum building up to the PPV, he's on a hot streak. Where this begins to fall apart is in terms of storyline. Bray is hard to classify at the best of times, and although he's meant to be a heel, it ultimately depends on who he's facing. Against the likes of Daniel Bryan and Dean Ambrose, he received the boo's and jeers that a villain is meant to receive. Against any of his three potential opponents at 'Mania, it would be hard to imagine him getting anything other than cheers. Then there's the matches themselves. Fans have already seen the best that Cena vs Wyatt could possibly offer, so the law of diminishing returns would play into effect there. A Wyatt vs Rollins matchup could be interesting, because while they faced each other during the Shield vs Wyatt's feud, you've never seen a one-on-one contest between them as singles competitors. Brock Lesnar vs Wyatt could potentially be gloriously brutal, but more likely the match would be a sloppy train wreck (although many would pay serious money to see the promos between Wyatt and Heyman alone) Added to this, Wyatt's biggest strength is his uniqueness of character. He has never won a single championship, in WWE, NXT or anywhere else. It's never been a problem, because it's never felt like he needed to. Jake "The Snake" Roberts never held a single championship throughout his WWE career, and he's a hall of famer now. What would Wyatt in the Title scene be like? Depending on how Sunday goes, the fans may very well find out
