3. Dolph Ziggler
Dolph Ziggler has been the champion of the audience for years now, but for one reason or another, WWE always seemed reluctant to fully throw their weight behind The Showoff. In late 2014, however, it seemed like he was finally closing in on that glass ceiling. 2015 could be the year he shatters it once and for all. Ziggler has always been one of the best workers in WWE, capable of putting on a fantastic match with anybody. For a long time, that seemed to be a curse rather than a blessing. If making your opponent look good is what you do best, you're normally destined to do it forever (also known as the "Mr Perfect" curse). But a run with the Intercontinental Title and a string of impressive victories brought the spotlight onto Dolph, as well as restoring some much needed prestige to the Title. In the lead up to Survivor Series, Dolph was the first member of Team Cena, and he received the most punishment for it. In the PPV itself, he was once again the workhorse of the team, receiving the worst beatings and lasting the longest in the ring. Eventually, all his teammates were gone, even John Cena was eliminated, leaving Ziggler facing odds of three against one. But in what has since been described as "one of the best performances in Survivor Series history", Dolph fought back, eliminating Kane, then Luke Harper, then fighting off The Authority and nearly pinning Rollins twice before finally getting the victory. It was a career making match, and it has given Ziggler the main event spotlight he should have been occupying for years. Dolph Ziggler has all the ability and charisma to be the next Shawn Michaels. Why not capitalize on that with repeating one of HBK's most famous accomplishments, winning the Royal Rumble from the number one position? He has the skills to do it, and he also has the skills to put on a fantastic main event no matter who his opponent was. This could finally be Ziggler's moment in the sun.
