7. Zack Ryder

It seems like Zack Ryder ends up on these kind of lists every year, yet he still finds himself employed by WWE. Not that that's a bad thing, though. Ryder is a great talent, but regardless of how excellent of an athlete he is, he'll never get beyond a certain level in WWE. That said, he deserves better than being an enhancement talent. He managed to get himself over in 2011 through his Z! Long Island Ice Z web show on YouTube and even captured the United States Championship. Going into 2012, WWE systemically ruined any momentum Ryder built up by feeding him to Kane and not allowing him to give The Big Red Monster his comeuppance. Despite various attempts to reinvent himself, Ryder hasn't been able to come nearly as close to the level he was at several years ago. His merchandise is nowhere near as hot as it was during his peak, so WWE no longer has a use for him. He was a regular on WWE Superstars before suffering an injury in November. He isn't due back to action any time soon, but he may be cut by WWE before he's able to make his return.
