It was established during her partnership and feud with Lyra Valkyria that Tatum Paxley has an obsession over the NXT Women's Championship, which then extended to her lusting over the NXT Women's North American Championship before losing a qualifying match to compete for that prize.
With only a few seconds of effort, WWE perfectly set Paxley up for a guest stint in TNA by allowing her to pivot her attention to another title, as the 4 June episode of NXT had Tatum eye up Jordynne Grace's TNA Knockouts World Championship. Following that, Paxley interfered at NXT Battleground, attempting to steal that title before she was stopped by TNA's Ash by Elegance (formerly WWE's Dana Brooke).
Grace will defend the Knockouts Title in an open challenge at the upcoming Against All Odds event, which opens up opportunities for any number of WWE women to answer that call - and Paxley now seems the perfect fit for that role.
Tatum Paxley can lose to the Juggernaut without doing any damage to her own standing, and it would still come across as an exciting surprise and fitting for her more deranged character to be the one to make that leap over to another company.
