The New Day are rapidly gaining traction as the hottest team in the WWE, and look set to defend their newly-won tag team titles under the 'Freebird rule' (meaning that the belts are co-held by all three members of the stable, and can be defended at any time). The classic big-man/fast-man combination of Kofi Kingston and Big E. Langston seems to be working well without the need for such a rule, however, leaving the door open for Xavier Woods to complete a trifecta of championship wins by scooping the Intercontinental title. As the stable slowly transform from an eternally-optimistic gospel group into a legitimately deranged cult, it would be good to see their pseudo-leader and mouthpiece given the chance to shine as a singles competitor. Although cheap wins can often wear the crowd's patience thin, occasional interference from Big E. and Kofi could generate additional heat and solidify the trio as some of the most despised heels in the WWE.
