10 WWE Stars We Aren't Allowed To Like

4. The Authors Of Pain

The Authors of Pain's rise to the respectable was genuinely impressive.

They were awful, and what's worse, they were dangerous. Then they became really good. It's clear now that they were very carefully produced in NXT, but who cares about the means, when the end resulted in bruising, high-octane hybrid wars of old school power and new school sequencing?

Do you like the Authors of Pain?

Tough t*tties!

They are more or less back where they started, only they've not managed to concuss Titus O'Neil. You might bristle at the negativity in this article - I want to actually like this, and you know, SmackDown is quite good - but the Authors of Pain actually lived up to the legacy of the powerhouse tandems they once cosplayed as. They bested the combined might of The Revival and #DIY, at their peaks, only to go 50/50 with Titus Worldwide 18 months later. The Authors are pure filler on RAW, wrestling slight variations of the same one match over and over and over again for no fathomable reason. Who could possibly care? Why aren't we allowed to like Akam and Rezar anymore?

Why?

*Slaps head*

Here's why:

They are a tag team.
