10 WWE Stars Who BADLY Need New Gimmicks After WrestleMania 40

6. Cameron Grimes

Poor Cameron Grimes hasn't had a televised singles match longer than three minutes since being drafted to SmackDown last summer. That's a bit crap, and now Cam has been relegated to the new WWE Speed concept. He better hope that shakes out, or knock on some doors backstage and start pitching fresh ideas.

His underdog everyman character hasn't translated well from NXT to the main roster. Of course, the writers should take the brunt of the blame for that. They haven't actually given Grimes a fighting chance - he beat Baron Corbin in six seconds on his debut, then proceeded to do absolutely sod all.

Toss the guy a bone, please.

Cameron's best chance of survival on SmackDown is to try out something radically different. It's either that or he goes the tag route to see if he and another straggler can catch some attention like Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne did recently.
