10 WWE Stars Who Could Claim To Be Mr. Survivor Series

2. John Cena

Record: 8-1 Number of main events: 4 (2008, 2009, 2011, 2012) Cena walks into this year's show with a sparkling 8-1 record at Survivor Series. It's no surprise that Cena's got such a great record because he's won the most big matches of any wrestler in the history of the company. It's why some people hate him so much! Regarding his main event matches, it's actually a bit of a surprise that his first main event was 2008 although he was injured in 2007 and missed that one. He was a part of the 2010 main event although he was only the referee of the match between Randy Orton and Wade Barrett. This year's main event will be the fifth of his career at Survivor Series. His only loss took place in 2012. That was the night that The Shield showed up and went after Ryback during the triple threat main event also involving CM Punk. It's a match finish that bothered me because Ryback hit Shellshock on Cena and then Cena laid there motionless for nearly two minutes because they had to wait for The Shield's attack on Ryback. Cena kicks out of nearly everything all the time, yet he can't kick out a lame finisher like Shellshock? That was weak. WWE has actually acknowledged Cena's Survivor Series record with Michael Cole saying that he was 8-1. They don't like saying it too much because they try to paint the picture that Cena's at a disadvantage somehow even though he's been heavily pushed for such a long time. That's WWE "logic" for you.
