10 WWE Stars Who Could Claim To Be Mr. Survivor Series
10. Bret Hart
Record: 5-6 Number of main events: 3 (1992, 1995, 1997) Bret wrestled at the event for 11 consecutive years, so he has to be included. That streak started with the first SSeries in 1987 and ended in 1997, which was his last day in WWE until his 2010 return as a non-wrestler. The only other person to wrestle in 11 in a row was Randy Orton, whose streak is ending this year. There's one particular Survivor Series match he had that always stick out as one of the best in the history of the event: 1996 vs. Steve Austin. It was a classic battle where they went back and forth for nearly 30 minutes before Bret was able to win it thanks to some craftiness. When a lot of fans think of Survivor Series they think of Bret in a negative way because of the screwjob in 1997, which was the end of his 13 year WWE run without him knowing it. That was a dark day in his career. However, it also made him a very sympathetic figure and something fans will be talking about forever because it was a Survivor Series moment.
