10 WWE Stars Who Desperately Need New Gimmicks

6. Liv Morgan

We've been here before, right? Liv Morgan needs a gimmick change, but if that leads to her interrupting a Lashley/Lana wedding then maybe she's better off treading water in the Riott Squad. A gimmick change is only a good idea if the new gimmick accentuates the qualities that a wrestler has.

And Liv Morgan has plenty of qualities. If you'll forgive the seemingly lazy aesthetic connections, Morgan is very much what WWE management seems to think Alexa Bliss is, just with more bite. Morgan has spent much of her tenure to date working as a heel with major babyface potential, putting on quietly good matches with a variety of opponents. There's no reason to believe that Liv Morgan doesn't have major mainstream potential too, a babyface superstar with crossover appeal.

There's nothing wrong with the Riott Squad gimmick, truth be told. Liv and Ruby have excellent chemistry and it is borderline criminal that they haven't had a run with the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships yet. If that title reign isn't happening anytime soon, the time has come for Liv Morgan to regroup and refresh.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
