10 WWE Stars Who Desperately Need New Gimmicks

2. Ezekiel

Ezekiel Kevin Owens

What a spot WWE put Elias/Ezekiel in the night after WrestleMania 38, eh? The poor lad had to walk out to complete silence and argue that he was, in fact, Elias' younger brother. Meanwhile, Kevin Owens did his best to keep things ticking along. It was poor for Zeke and naff follow up for KO following his match with Steve Austin.

It was also half-hearted from creative.

They must decide what they hope to achieve with all this, "I'm not Elias, honest" malarkey. Is that really the best they have for the revamped star, or was it a last-minute bid to shove him back on telly and pretend that his comeback was shocking enough for the post-'Mania Raw?

Being brutally honest, Ezekiel could be doing with change already. WWE should leave the music man gimmick behind permanently (never mentioning it again) or return to it and lick their wounds. They can't have things both ways, because that won't work.

Also, grow the beard out again. Pretty please?
