10 WWE Stars Who DESPERATELY Need Something New

WWE stars on Raw and SmackDown are crying out for something totally fresh!

Every wrestler needs change at some point.

Freshening up one's act is risky business, but it's essential. Roman Reigns had to turn heel in 2020 and become the 'Tribal Chief', Becky Lynch couldn't be 'The Man' forever (but returned to that guise successfully following a break), and even Seth Rollins 2023 is a million miles removed from the babyface from 2019.

There are loads of workers across both Raw and SmackDown that could do with a repackage job. Rumours abound that Triple H and his creative team plan to make those changes imminently, and they better get it right; some of the folks featured here can't afford another misfire on this roster.

In some cases, simply changing their outfit or character alignment would be enough. In others, complete change is needed. Current guises for the latter undoubtedly suck and are going nowhere fast, so something totally new would greatly help revive flagging fan interest.

It'd also recover some suspected lost motivation from the wrestlers living this staleness themselves. Even these men and women must know they need to try something fresh sooner rather than later.

Where's that box of gimmicks?

10. Hit Row

Right, so is everyone in agreement that Hit Row ranks as the least-successful return of the Triple H era? Top Dolla, Ashante Adonis and B-FAB play before near-total silence on TV, and they haven't clicked whether heel or babyface. Things do not look good for an act WWE hoped would work second time around.

It's time to ditch the name and presentation.

All three members of the faction might work if they're tied to more experienced campaigners separately. Adonis, for example, does show flashes of potential, but his chance of growth has been wrecked by association to a failing gimmick. B-FAB would be worth persevering with too.

How about Dolla? The guy has personality, but he hasn't shown anything of worth in-ring. Marry that lack of fundamental improvement with fan apathy, and you've got a recipe for disaster. If Triple H plans to keep this trio around long-term, then he'll need to come up with something else for them.
