10 WWE Stars Who DESPERATELY Need Something New

4. New Day

Admit it, you were not expecting to see these lads.

Big E's pro wrestling future remains a real doubt, and that's depressing. The former WWE Champ's career hangs in the balance due to serious neck issues, but he'll hopefully be back someday. Whether he's present for it or not, New Day pals like Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods require a shakeup.

New Day remains popular enough, but they've been on the slide as a core group for years now. Nobody's saying they need to turn on one another and feud (that ship has probably sailed), but they do need a fresh wrinkle when bouncing back into view on TV.

Christ knows what that is, but the trombone, pancakes and sexual innuendos can likely take a back seat for a while. It'd actually be cool to see Woods and Kingston become a much more serious team who are done p*ssing about and know they've only got a finite amount of time to reclaim tag gold.

The duo/trio would work with a less comedic edge.
