10 WWE Stars Who DESPERATELY Need Something New

5. Aliyah

Aliyah is on WWE's "free agents" list post-Draft, which means she could pop up on any brand she likes. NXT might be the best shout there, if only so the one-time SmackDown hopeful can ditch the ditzy gimmick she'd been playing on Fridays. That was a hangover from Maria Kanellis circa 2006 that no-one needed.

The character was far too one-dimensional anyway. It might've worked as an endearing introduction to main roster life for Aliyah, but she sorely needed to develop from there and become someone fans could get behind. Or, y'know, she could just do sod all then randomly hold the Women's Tag Titles for a few weeks.

Aliyah did that with Raquel Rodriguez (yet another revolving door partner for Raquel) last year, but hasn't been seen much since. Being off TV for so long could be a blessing in disguise for her - at least WWE can repackage Aliyah into something else without it feeling weird or sudden.
