Bray Wyatt, recent WWE Champion needs to be repackaged? Yup. Why? Three words: House of Horrors.

Okay, so Wyatt doesn’t need to go back to Husky Harris, and he doesn’t need to play another character at all. He just needs to tone down his act a bit, because, for many, it has jumped the shark farther than The Fonz could ever have dreamed of.

When The Wyatt Family first debuted, they were one of the hottest acts in years. They had a mystique about them that few others on the roster possessed. Wyatt could talk, Luke Harper could wrestle and Erick Rowan...um...looked kind of spooky in a sheep mask. It worked!

But over the following years, the group lost their way. They split up too many times, but more importantly, they never won important matches. Wyatt would talk a big game, but he could never back it up in the ring. He'd casually talk about eating souls and whatnot, but his opponents were no worse for wear the following week after their match. Their souls appeared to be very much intact. Things quickly accelerated into the realm of absurdity, and as fans saw at WrestleMania, it started getting really, really stupid.

Wyatt can still talk, he's still a pretty good wrestler, but he just needs to take a long vacation. He can come back and even still be a hillbilly cult leader, but Sister Abigail, videos of worms, forced laughter in every promo and supernatural tractors all need to go away.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
