10 WWE Stars Who Desperately Need To Switch Brands

The quest for greatness should take these 10 Superstars to another brand.

The WWE brand extension has created opportunities for the Superstars of both Raw and SmackDown to rise to the occasion and enjoy substantial pushes the likes of wish they would never have in a united roster setting.

As good as the roster split has been for Superstars like Braun Strowman, Baron Corbin, Jason Jordan and Jinder Mahal, it has become increasingly frustrating for a crop of talented Superstars who have seen their momentum halted, and, as their usefulness diminished, their staleness set in.

With WrestleMania on the horizon, the potential for a Superstar Shake-Up has fans guessing which Superstars could be on the move. Who would benefit most from leaving the crowded SmackDown roster and heading to Raw, where the three-hour runtime creates a greater chance for screen time, and who would benefit from leaving the flagship show for the Land of Opportunity that is the blue brand?

There are 10 Superstars in particular who could most benefit from making a brand switch sooner than later, with the immediate and longterm health of their characters banking on it. Who are they, and why might they benefit from making the jump?

The answer to that question is not nearly as complex as it may seem in any of their cases.

10. Baron Corbin

Baron Corbin has been a staple of the SmackDown brand since the original brand extension of 2016, and though his stock has risen significantly since that time, he is in need of a switch-up as a potential Superstar Shake-Up draws near.

The Lone Wolf can best be associated with failure on the blue brand. Though he has headlined and battled the likes of AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Shinsuke Nakamura and John Cena, he also lost his Money in the Bank briefcase in laughable fashion and spent months chasing the United States Championship -only to lose it after just two months to a Dolph Ziggler who was, at the time, reportedly on his way out the door.

Corbin, like several Hollywood franchises, needs a reboot in the worst way.

He needs to rebuild credibility to match the star power he has attained from working with elite-level competition. He can do that on the red brand, where putting him opposite Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman and even The Miz will help earn him back the credibility he lost during the second-half of 2017.

If he cannot succeed there, where all the pieces would be in place to make him the star WWE management clearly hopes he can be, there may be no hope.
