Bayley is a Superstar whose character became lost in translation when she made the jump from NXT to the main roster. A lifelong fan who marveled at the Superstars around her but was tenacious and tough when disrespected or confronted with a fight, she became the most beloved star in the developmental brand.

When she made the jump, she was relegated to the role of meek underdog. The fire was gone and the fans noticed, opting to cheer the likes of Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax over her. Though she has begun mounting a comeback thanks to a brewing rivalry with Sasha Banks, Bayley is one of the Superstars most in need of a brand switch.

The SmackDown women's division, for its wealth of talent, lacks characters. Too often, it is a brand where lots of talented women wrestle matches without any semblance of story or stakes. It needs a shakeup in itself, an injection of character - and Bayley can provide that. In turn, the blue brand can provide her with a fresh start where she can rebuild her stock and become the heroine to the audience she once was at her peak in NXT.

Continuing to bump around for heels more over than she will only serve to deteriorate her star and hurt her standing with audiences.
