Victoria was the definition of a crazy chick. She debuted as somebody that was jealous of Trish Stratus' success, so she would viciously attack her whenever she could and they had a lot of violent matches with one another. It really helped both of their careers get off on the right track. WWE decided she needed an ally to deal with Stratus, so they paired her up with Steven Richards. He really wasn't doing anything of note. It seemed like a good fit. It was a big difference from his role in the Right to Censor group, but he was able to pull it off. They weren't booked as a romantic couple although they certainly pushed that idea in the storylines. At least they did a little bit. There really weren't that many major angles for them other than her stuff with Stratus. He never made it very far in singles.
