10 WWE Stars Who Failed In WCW
4. Ted DiBiase
In the WWF, Ted DiBiase had become a made man. A recurring fixture of the main events, a former (albeit dubious) WWF Champion, and one of the most memorable heels to ever grace the territory, 'The Million Dollar Man' was a household name in the early '90s.
Regrettably, the same can't be said for his tenure in WCW. Having retired from in-ring competition, DiBiase made his debut in style as the often-forgotten fourth member of the nWo. Just one month after the radical formation of the group, DiBiase was given a high profile spot as spokesman for Hogan and co.
Billed as 'Trillionaire Ted' - an obvious shot at WWF's childish 'Billionaire Ted' skits aimed at Ted Turner - DiBiase was portrayed as the financial backer of the New World Order, living up to his established WWF character as the wealthy villain.
Unfortunately for DiBiase, his role would soon become redundant, as Eric Bischoff himself became a member of the nWo, thus ousting DiBiase from his spot as the group's money man. DiBiase career languished in WCW after the unceremonious removal and his managerial days were numbered from that point on.
He went on to briefly manage The Steiners and Ray Traylor before leaving the company altogether in 1999.
