10 WWE Stars Who Fought Through The Pain Barrier

9. The Undertaker Vs. Brock Lesnar - WWE WrestleMania XXX

Shortly into this match, which was widely expected to be the best match on a stacked WrestleMania XXX card, the Undertaker suffered a serious concussion.

It was apparent immediately that was something was off. Though the sluggish action wasn't too dissimilar to Lesnar's bout with Triple H at the same event a year earlier, it was clear that it was 'Taker who was struggling badly. This was the night on which he, since 2006, had never failed to transcend his bodily limitations to enter a peerless performance to outclass his younger and fitter colleagues.

Sadly, due in large part to the concussion which had knocked him sideways, his streak of classic matches ended with his streak of WrestleMania victories. Paul Heyman wasn't just spouting his trademark hyperbolic patter when he crowed on the post-'Mania RAW that Vince McMahon went along to the hospital with the 'Dead Man' - he was so out of it that it was feared he wouldn't step through the ropes again.

It could even be said that 'Taker didn't as much fight through the pain barrier as stumble over it in a near-unconscious daze. Regardless, even and especially if it were through pure instinct, Undi' deserves a place on this list.
