6. Solo Sikoa

When: SmackDown (13 September)

Opponent: Cody Rhodes

Time to give SmackDown some love.

Solo Sikoa takes a lot of stick for his role as the wannabe 'Tribal Chief'. Comments like "Temu Bloodline" are funny, but it'd be unfair to discount how far Solo has come as a worker. Even so, few were left convinced by his challenge vs. Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam. Everyone was just kinda waiting around on Roman Reigns to return there.

The 13 September TV gave Sikoa another shot at showing what he has to offer, and he seized it with both hands. The steel cage effort he put in vs. Cody was incredible. Plaudits go to Rhodes for knowing when to sell, sell, sell then fight from underneath. The best babyface champs know when to lay out and when to hit their comebacks.

Solo looked more composed in the cage than he had at SummerSlam. He can be proud of his work on the night, and of everything he's done since. This sort of match bodes well should Triple H fancy putting Sikoa in there with Roman one-on-one someday.

Stick that in the cage too, please.
