When: Elimination Chamber

Opponent: Rhea Ripley

An awful lot of people, this guy included, need to admit they were wrong about Nia Jax returning to WWE's fold. She's been terrific since coming back full time last year, and has really gone from strength to strength in-ring and on the mic in 2024. This, without hyperbole, has been the biggest and best year of Nia's career.

She's carried an aura with her too. Fans started to realise they were going to see something dangerous (scripted danger, not...injury prone danger) whenever she appeared on TV, and that has breathed new found power into Jax. She's confident, tidy with her work, and showed just how far she'd come in a pressure-filled main event spot at Elimination Chamber.

The match vs. Rhea Ripley was bloody ace.

More recent bouts vs. Bayley and Lyra Valkyria have been a hoot too, but nothing tops the bit of business with Rhea over in Australia. More impressively, Nia lost that night, but looked the best she ever had as a physical heel capable of rag-dolling a specimen like Ripley around.
