10 WWE Stars Who Had WrestleManias They Would Rather Forget

2. The Big Show - WrestleMania 21

WWE just loved humiliating The Big Show. The company felt that Show had let them down after they signed him to a ten year, £1m per annum contract in 1999. Greatness was expected for him, clearly. Regrettably, Show developed an addiction to junk food, forgot about exercising and couldn't be arsed to put the work in to become a major player. So the company decided to get back at him. First they had him become an impressionist, then they sent him to OVW to lose weight, then when he came back they did nothing with him but put him in hardcore matches, they had Eddie Guerrero spray him with 'poop' (actually waterlogged dog food) and a whole host of other embarrassing things. As bad as those things were, they weren't as bad as what WWE had him do at WrestleMania 21. Show competed in 'Mania's first ever Sumo match. And it wasn't pretty, mainly due to the fact that WWE had Show wear a traditional mawashi - those thong/diaper hybrids that Sumo wrestlers wear. Then Show had to have a worked, minute-long match with Akebono, a man only a fraction of the WWE audience knew or cared about. Oh, and he had to lose. It was the worst part on the event and capped off a rotten night for The Big Show. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3KmMvfdidvQ
