This one may seem like Im going against an earlier point, but hear me out. John Cena has won four matches at SummerSlam, but like Triple H hes also tasted his fair share of defeats losing on six occasions in total. But the difference here is that even in defeat, Cenas matches have been of a very high standard. He's often garnered criticism for his limited ring style, but at SummerSlam the posterboy of the company has proved that he's more than capable of putting on a top-quality match. As a fan, which would you deem to be more successful; Triple H vs. Khali from 2008, or Cena vs. Daniel Bryan from just last year? And what about his clash with CM Punk during their classic feud of 2011? Sometimes in pro wrestling, your legacy can be boosted more from a loss than it can from a win. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DEJGl1DxEI Admittedly Bryan and Punk are better workers than Khali, but nonetheless Cena still played his part. Those matches and the performances within them will stick in fans memories for far longer, and thus make the leader of the Cenation a more suitable candidate for Mr. SummerSlam than the aforementioned Triple H. Some of Cenas other highlights include WWE Championship victories over Chris Jericho and Randy Orton in 2005 and 2007 respectively.
