10 WWE Stars Who Have Gone AWOL

1. Elias/Ezekiel

Is Elias going for the world record, or something? The dude was posted missing between August 2021-April 2022, then returned as his "younger brother" Ezekiel. Following some Sherlock Holmes-style investigations from Kevin Owens (and a lot of frustrated promos), Zeke disappeared from telly.

He's on the sidelines growing out that lush beard for a return as the old version of himself.

WWE's internal roster reports scrapped Ezekiel and replaced him with Elias. So, in other words, the guitar-playing gimmick is coming back, and his 'Ultimate Warrior without face paint' look will go down in company history as the answer to a trivia question.

Everyone can look forward to next year when WWE decides to put Elias on hiatus again, tells him to dye that hair/beard silver and then come back as "older brother" Elijah. Actually, it's probs best not to give the creative team ideas like that!
