10 WWE Stars Who Have Gone Backwards In 2020

2. The Miz

Yes, that is The Miz and John Morrison dressed as rashers of bacon. No, it wasn't anywhere near as funny as WWE pretended it was. Therein lies the problem: Miz (and Morrison, but mainly Miz) has dropped from an outspoken role that suited him whether he was heel or face to a comedy sideshow run that doesn't.

The rap video was amusing in a knowingly-naff way, but nothing else has been effective. Miz's reunion with JoMo has, to date, resulted in crap feud after crap feud. Their Braun Strowman battles over the summer were like the worst parts of WWE Swerved, and this ongoing Money In The Bank legal nonsense with Otis is plain bad.

Miz is capable of some great stuff - he really is. As a braggart heel, there are few better, and he successfully managed to come across as a loving family man when playing face last year. 2020 hasn't been anywhere near as good. His comedy skits are rubbish and 'Miz TV' totally skippable.

What the hell happened?
