10 WWE Stars Who MUST Be Thinking About Jumping Ship To AEW
5. Dolph Ziggler
Dolph Ziggler has genuinely put his time in with WWE. He's been with the company since the early days of the Ruthless Aggression era, in the infamous Spirit Squad stable. After that, he found some moderate success in his new persona and gained a slew of mid-card belts and even a World Heavyweight Championship. Despite that and his popularity with fans, he's constantly getting short-changed by creative.
Although he might be doing alright right now as one half of the SmackDown Tag Team Champions, you have to imagine that the years of directionless booking, lacklustre feuds, and stop-start pushes have caused Ziggler to grow weary. He really is the veteran of underappreciated performers. While he's proved to be a valuable and loyal asset to the company, there's no doubt he's thought about how he might be treated elsewhere.
Seeing Ziggler make the jump to AEW would kick up a massive storm in the wrestling community, and Dolph is undoubtedly aware of that. He's likely thought about doing so to gain a fresh start and get the chance to be a star. Whether he would go through with it or not remains to be seen.
