Arguably WWEs most popular performer, Daniel Bryans success at last years WrestleMania was a great story; so much so that many fans wanted to see Bryan back in the main event again this year. But those hopes were destroyed at the Royal Rumble when he was eliminated, and again at Fast Lane when Roman Reigns pinned him clean in the ring. So whats Bryan to do? Well, based off of current storylines, he appears to be going into the IC title Ladder Match. While the Intercontinental Championship might be considered a step down for Bryan in the eyes of some fans, having a former World Champion fight for it might elevate its prestige. Bryan needs to show that hes still one of the top stars in the company, able to hang with the best of them. Defeating multiple opponents in a Ladder Match for the IC title would be a great way of showing that. If Bryan were to win, he would at least capture some of the momentum he lost last year after his neck injury. He could also work with the other contenders in this match after Mania, and help build them into bigger stars by putting on great matches for the Intercontinental Championship.
