10 WWE Stars Who Need To Be Released Right Now

10. David Otunga

Somehow, David Otunga is in his sixth year of WWE employment. Getting a shot in WWE largely because of his crossover renown from starring in VH-1's I Love New York 2 program, plus being married to Jennifer Hudson and being a Harvard-educated attorney, none of that has really translated into a sustained push that has seen Otunga rise above the level of "comic flunkie" in the company. Otunga now largely stars in WWE Films productions like The Call and small roles on TV programs like General Hospital. Maybe bringing him back as a manager or WWE Network talking head could work. But, if WWE really has no actual on-screen role for him that can earn the company sustainable income, it may be time for him to be released.
