If it were 30 years ago, these guys wouldn't be potentially released, they'd be the tag team champions. However, stuffed WWE dolls and cartoon shows aren't high on retail and television wish lists for pro wrestling in 2015, so this act becomes expendable. This is a trio that's obviously beloved by Vince McMahon, as so many of his ideas come from the 80s era in which he made his first millions. At times it's worked. WEE-L-C with 3 Man Band versus Los Matadores was easily one of the most entertaining matches (in an entertaining feud) in quite awhile. However, for as much of a comic break as the idea is to have on the show, it just doesn't work as well as it would in another era.
