WWE has powered through thousands of wrestlers over the years, but not every single one could be a success.

Follow pro wrestling long enough and you'll surely hear the phrase, 'throwing things at the wall to see what might stick'. That's been a Vince McMahon go-to since day one - the boss doesn't always have a nailed-on plan. Sometimes, he just sorta' slings sh*t out there and hopes for the best.

This is never more true than when one analyses all the workers who only worked a handful of matches for the promotion. Even more impressively, the following 10 listed here only managed one televised bout during their fleeting WWE careers. Some disappeared off the face of the earth afterwards, whereas others either went on to become stars elsewhere - or were already respected outside McMahon's insular walls.

There are a few comedic gems in here too, because what good is this sort of subject if you can't go wild with it and make light of the "WWE Superstars" tag? In years to come, people will speak of a list-based article that includes deities, drug dealers, Japanese wrestling legends and scared little boys.
