10 WWE Stars Who Pretty Much Asked To Be Fired

2. Nailz

Big Boss Man Nailz

As a child, your writer was frozen with fear any time the imposing Nailz appeared on his nine-inch TV back in 1992. His dark, twisted glare, that kayfabe'd backstory of violence and psychopathic behaviour, the way he worked differently to almost everyone else on screen - it was all terrifying.

Then, he had to go and balls things up by attacking Vince McMahon in his office.

Bret Hart wrote in his autobiography that he heard loud crashes coming from down the hall backstage one day. That was Nailz chucking Vinnie Mac around the room like an empty jacket, and it led to his immediate dismissal. Obviously. One can't physically attack their boss without consequences, after all.

In a wrongful termination case, Nailz alleged that McMahon had sexually assaulted him and stiffed him on payoffs. Vince and the WWF denied each and every charge, and the suits were eventually dropped. There was no going back for the orange-jumpsuit-wearing nightmare after he laid hands on the WWF's leader - especially once he'd testified against the company during the subsequent steroid trial.
