The WWE's Apex Predator has had what can only be described as stunning career in the company, helped no end by the fact he may be the very dictionary definition of what the WWE wants. Orton has won multiple world championships, headlined a number of WrestleManias and done pretty much all there is to do, including getting busted open by Brock Lesnar.

Orton has a well-documented reputation for being, well, a d*ck, so it is little surprise to hear that he didn't play nice during his brief flirtation with the military before his pro wrestling career began. Orton enlisted in the US Marine Corps after graduating high school in 1998, but would go on to desert the army on two separate occasions.

The Viper received a bad conduct discharge as a result, and a special court-martial ostensibly found him guilty of being a d*ck and sentenced him to 38 days in a military prison. Still, Orton enjoyed him initial time enough to get a US Marine Corps tattoo on his left arm, although he got it covered up after serving his prison time.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
