Professional wrestling ended up being something of a last resort career for Kevin Nash. Big Sexy was actually an accomplished college basketball player, playing four years for the Tennessee Volunteers before an altercation with the coach ended that. Nash then moved to Europe, where he played professionally for a number of teams.

A serious injury ended his basketball career however, and Nash decided to join the 202nd Military Police Company. He would go on to be stationed at a NATO facility for two years, reaching the rank of specialist in the process.

Nash would go on to work as floor manager of a strip club in Atlanta (Georgia) as well as the assembly line at Ford before finally deciding to try his hand at professional wrestling. The rest is history.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
