Everyone's third favourite member of Demolition, Brian Adams also served in the US Air Force. Adams, better known to wrestling fans as Crush, enlisted straight out of high school and it was in the force that he began boxing, a move that would eventually lead to him pursuing a career in in professional wrestling.

It was during his time in the force that Crush was actually first exposed to professional wrestling, whilst he was stationed in Japan. Crush would go on to be trained by none other than WWE Hall of Famer Antonio Inoki. Crush was actually one of only two gaijins to make it through the New Japan dojo in the 1980s, the other being Chris Benoit.

Crush died of an accidental drug overdose in 2007.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
