10 WWE Stars Who Should Have Won Money In The Bank

Over the course of his career, Christian competed in many ladder matches, winning far more than he lost, but the lack of a Money in the Bank victory on his resume is obvious. A multiple-time world champion whose accomplishments across WWE and TNA are numerous, he is a bona fide Hall of Famer.

Unlike the majority of the superstars joining him on this list, he won major titles despite not capturing the briefcase. Still, that does not change the fact that he should have had the chance to run with the briefcase, especially considering the fact that guys like Jack Swagger and Damien Sandow, two young stars undeniably hurt by their wins in Money in the Bank, have that honour on their resumes.

The closest he ever came was the 2009 match at WrestleManiaXXV, where he was within arm's reach of capturing the briefcase, only for CM Punk to explode back into the thick of things and steal it away from him. Punk's win was instrumental in his push, his initial heel run and his feud with Jeff Hardy that dominated the SmackDown brand so it would be wrong to suggest that Captain Charisma was a better choice.

Still, at some point, a victory for him in a match that suited him so well, would have put a bow on one of the most decorated careers in WWE history.
