Bray Wyatt has only competed in one Money in the Bank match to date but few outcomes from the 2014 bout that saw him compete for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship would have been more entertaining than The Reaper of Souls winning the title and terrorising the company.

Fresh off of a feud in which he was defeated by John Cena and had his momentum severely stunted by the franchise star, he could have used that championship win to catapult him back into the stratosphere of the elite. Instead, he was an afterthought of sorts, a name competitor among many.

Wyatt as the alternative to The Authority, carrying the title as the anti-chosen one would have made for tremendous television. Imagine a scenario in which The Authority's Triple H and Stephanie were on one side, The Wyatt Family was on the other and smack in the middle was Cena or Roman Reigns. Dean Ambrose, even.

It would have created a fresh take on the heel authority figure storyline at a time when WWE was desperately in need of something original to lift the spirits of fans dismayed by the neck injury suffered by Daniel Bryan.

Instead, what they got was another meaningless Cena title reign that set up the most one-sided !*$%-kicking in pro wrestling history at SummerSlam while Wyatt was left to wallow in the midcard.

But that is another story for another time.
