10 WWE Stars Who Turned Into EVERYTHING They Hated

3. Triple H

This is a fun and lighthearted one.

Triple H went from leading a group of literal degenerates in DX to leading The Authority. Before that, he'd also temporarily ditched the whole D-Generation X thing to become a member of The Corporation, which was a drastic switch for someone who was supposed to be chief rabble rouser.

That brief stint in The Corporation was a teaser for things to come just over a decade later. Trips stood alongside Stephanie McMahon to do their best Vince impressions, and they dismissed fresh faces like Daniel Bryan as a "B+ player". It was a watered down version of Vince vs. Steve Austin, basically.

In short, Hunter became the Mr. McMahon character he'd once poked fun at in DX. He cut his long hair, wore smart suits and carried himself like a snooty businessman who pretended to have the audience's best interest at heart whilst simultaneously serving his own ego.

Who does that sound like?!
