10 WWE Stars Who Were Drafted To The Right Show (And 5 Who Weren't)

7. Kalisto To SmackDown (Wrong Show)

I always thought Kalisto would be a nice addition to the SmackDown roster, similar to how Rey Mysterio broke out as a main event player on the blue brand during the initial Brand Extension. Then again, that was before it was announced the Cruiserweight division would be returning, and at that point, it instantly became apparent that he belonged on Raw.

Despite that, Kalisto was drafted to SmackDown while his former Lucha Dragons tag team partner Sin Cara went to Raw. Cara could be a fine asset to the Cruiserweight division, but Kalisto would have been a better fit for it than anyone. It was high time he branched off on his own, but he and Cara could have ended up on the same show yet wouldn't have had to interact at all.

To make matters worse, Kalisto's awful evening last Tuesday was capped off with one of the worst promos I have heard in some time, talking about "making good lucha things"/ Of course, he was nervous and you can't fault him for that, but it didn't exactly kick off his SmackDown stint on the best note.
