10 WWE Stars Who Were Drafted To The Right Show (And 5 Who Weren't)

Zack Ryder was drafted to SmackDown in the same round as Apollo Crews, which wasn't too surprising given he has been an enhancement talent for the better part of the last five years. But he has really evolved into a potential mainstay in the midcard over the last month with wins in singles and tag team action.

Alongside stars such as Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Cesaro and Chris Jericho, there was no chance Ryder was going to gain an ounce of steam on Raw. But SmackDown, where he is joined by fresh faces such as Apollo Crews, Baron Corbin and Kalisto, he can flourish.

He is another name who can benefit big time from the Brand Extension if he can continue on the roll he has been as of late. While he may have fallen short of winning the United States Championship versus Rusev at Battleground, that loss shouldn't mark the end of the recent Ryder Revolution.

Is he world title material? Probably not, but he can be a solid upper-midcarder if he is built back up the right way.
