10 WWE Stars Who Were TRULY Buried

6. Lita

The one f*cking time Vince McMahon gave the fans what they wanted, because of course it was.

WWE crowds were ruthlessly awful in their treatment of Lita in the mid-2000s, by most definitely projecting their own bullsh*t onto her, and there is no counterargument. Did those fans chant anything remotely similar to, for example Bret Hart, following Shawn Michaels' "Sunny days" comment? Or did Julie Hart not fall through enough tables for their satisfaction?

Lita was a "slut" to these people, when news emerged of her affair with Edge in 2005. Edge, incidentally, was not a "slut". Message boards everywhere put him over as a "great heel".

At Survivor Series 2006, Lita wrestled her last match for WWE as a full-time performer. "I know what you're gonna say," Jim Ross said on commentary, as Lita applied a sleeper on the canvas. "She's used to working on her back." When she lost, JR said "Lita, ending her career on her back."

"I'm not going to say 'How apropos'," Jerry Lawler said.

Slut-shamed during and after the match, the scene that followed was revolting. Vince McMahon dispatched Cryme Tyme to the ring, who couldn't even rescue it with their trademark charming charisma. They held a "ho sale" in which Lita's yeast infection cream, panties and vibrator were sold to the audience and JBL.

Lita literally broke her neck for the cause.
