Several fans were stunned to learn that Lacey Evans was in line to beat Asuka for the Raw Women's Title at Elimination Chamber before telling WWE about her pregnancy. Now, the champion elect (who would've gone on to drop that belt to Charlotte Flair in Tampa) is on maternity leave.

You won't be seeing her for a while.

It says everything about Lacey's desire to have another kid that she was willing to forgo a featured spot on the big 'Mania weekender. She surely knew about WWE's booking plans in advance, but has spoken in the media about her decision - Evans had already put off having another baby for around two years, and couldn't wait any longer.

She didn't want her daughter to be too old before having another child with her husband, so the couple agreed that family was more important than her pro wrestling goals. Who knows when Lacey will return to the fold.
