10 WWE Stars Who Would Have Won Money In The Bank In The 1990s

8. 1992 - Shawn Michaels

1992 finally saw Shawn Michaels break out as a singles star, after hurling former partner Marty Jannetty through the window of Brutus Beefcake's Barber Shop. If Jannetty hadn't fallen foul of the police (read: attacking them) and been released, this could very well have been his briefcase to win.

If that had been the case, the story would have seen a match between the two with the case on the line, at which point Shawn would be victorious.

The parallels between 2012 Dolph Ziggler and 1992 Shawn Michaels are fairly clear, and I'd assume that Shawn would have held the case for a long, long time before eventually cashing it in at WrestleMania IX. Heck, maybe he would have been the man to come out and defeat Yokozuna at the climax of the worst WrestleMania of all time. How different would the company have been?

Let's keep Jannetty in the match, but taking on less of a role of importance. Shawn's initial singles feud saw him up against Rick Martel, and 1992 would have seen The Model's final appearance in the match. Bret Hart and The British Bulldog can find their way in as well, but the Intercontinental Championship feud between the two means there is no need for either to win the case.

The field is rounded out by the Big Boss Man and Irwin R. Schyster.
