This is a name I didn't expect to find on this list.

Mick Foley came in to the World Wrestling Federation in 1996 and was instantly positioned towards the top of the card. His first real feud came against none other than The Undertaker, and the two did battle in two of Foley's first three pay-per-view matches in the company.

The other was against Henry Godwinn, for those interested.

Foley's fourth was a true classic against Shawn Michaels at WWF In Your House: Mind Games. The WWF Championship was on the line. and the match still stands up when viewed today. It is also arguably one of the greatest matches in company history to end in a disqualification.

Foley was right back to battling Taker at the next PPV, coming up short in the first ever Buried Alive match.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
